All events will be played in a knock-out system. The seeding and draw will be made by Badminton Europe on the 11th October 2016.
In the singles events, preliminary pools of 3 or 4 players will be played. The two best players of each pool will continue to the main draw and the other players will continue to the consolation draw expect in U15 and U17 where only main draw will be played. The main and consolation draws will be played in a knock-out system.
The doubles events will be played in a knock-out system.
In all U13 and U11 events, in both main draw and consolation draw, the players/pairs having lost their semi-final matches will play a bronze-medal match.
The seeding and draw will be done by the organizers and the referee, according to Finnish Junior Elite tour regulations on the 22nd October 2016.
