Welcome to our club's pre-christmas event on Saturday 9.12.!
Tapion Sulka's traditional Pre-Christmas event will be held on Saturday 9 December 2023. The program starts at the Esport Center with a traditional little Christmas double tournament, where you can challenge different opponents. The most important part is to have fun and enjoy playing games together!
After matches willing ones will head to Otaniemi Radisson Blu hotel restaurant Ranta.
You must register for the Christmas dinner no later than 5.12. and for the double tournament’s last registration day is on Friday 8.12.
The playful doubles tournament starts at 10 a.m. Our club's players of all ages and levels are welcome. All pairs get matches both in the initial pools and in the follow-up games. Choose a nice playing partner for yourself and sign up for the games together.The registration must be done only once for each pair. Unfortunately, it is not possible to register without a pair. The double tournament is free, and replaces the last ranking event, meaning that the singles rankings will continue again in January. The points of this tournament do not affect the ranking list.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to register at the hall. The event is played with own shuttles, which can also be purchased from the event organizers.
We encourage pairs to wear team outfits, because the best outfit will be awarded in the tournament! In previous years, pairs have dressed e.g. with an animal, swimming or beach theme, so the outfit can be very casual or funny.
Dinner
After the tournament and showers, we will move to Otaniemi Radisson Blu hotel restaurant Ranta for dinner around 3 pm. Tapion Sulka will make the table reservation, so the last day to register for dinner is Tuesday, December 5. When registering, you must already decide what to order, so please mention the food you want to order and if you have any food allergies or restrictions.
