As a member of Tapion Sulka, you can choose from a wide selection of training groups aimed at players of different ages and levels. Discover Tapion Sulka's group offerings here.
1. Training season
Training sessions in Tapion Sulka are held from mid-August to June 15 of the following year. The activities are divided into two training periods; autumn and spring. The coaches take their Christmas break during the week between Christmas and 6th of January. There are no guided training sessions on bank holidays. But on these days, the courts are available for players to use, if the training hall is open. Training sessions will continue in the same groups in January, but separate registration for the spring season is required. This is a change compared to previous years.
The training groups for the following autumn season are confirmed during the late spring and early summer. Registration for the new season's groups usually begins in June.
2. Fees and registration
The season fees for groups are determined by group-specific prices (the price is always a full season price). The prices can be found in the group information in MyClub. By registering, the player is committed to participating in training for the entire training season and agrees to pay the stated training fee. If there is space in the groups, you can also join the training during the season. As a new member of the club, you are entitled to two free trial sessions, after which you can decide whether to continue in the group.
2.1 Quantity discount for juniors
Tapion Sulka grants quantity discounts to those training in junior hobby groups as follows: Players who train twice a week or more are given a 20% discount on the added training groups. The discounts are applied to the latter groups in the order of registration.
3. Payment of training fees
The player (or the player's guardian if under 18) is committed to pay the training fees specified in sections 2 and 2.1. The obligation is not affected by how many times the player has attended training. The billing for the season of hobby groups takes place in connection with group registration, in the manner indicated by the player/player's guardian in MyClub. If the player needs special arrangements for billing, he or she must contact the email address info@tapionsulka.fi. Player's own email address changes must be made in MyClub.
4. Stopping training mid-season
In coaching, the player/player's guardian commits to the autumn/spring season for the entire training season. For "force majeure" reasons, the player can leave the group mid-season and the player/player's guardian does not have to pay training fees for the part exceeding the two-week deductible. Notice of termination must be sent in writing by email to info@tapionsulka.fi. The player/player's guardian is obliged to pay the training fees for the notice period. Please note that the club membership must be terminated separately. (see section 6).
5. Sickness absences during the season
In the event of a long-term illness or injury, the player/player's guardian does not have to pay training fees for the part exceeding the two-week deductible. A medical certificate must be presented for this. The deductible is calculated from the date of notification and the notification is made by email to info@tapionsulka.fi.
6. Membership
Coaching is only organized for members of Tapion Sulka. When starting training in the club's training groups, the player automatically becomes a member and agrees to pay the membership fee. The membership fee is always valid for a calendar year, but automatically continues for the following year if the player does not separately terminate their membership. If they wish to leave the club, the player/guardian must separately terminate their membership by sending an email to info@tapionsulka.fi.
7. Customer information
All customer information is treated confidentially. We use customer information to manage customer relationships. The information is not disclosed to third parties.
8. Photography
During the season, training sessions may be photographed occasionally for club advertising. If a player is not allowing to use their photos in Tapion Sulka's advertising and publications, they can change their photography permission in Myclub.
9. News and activities
Information about the training season and coaching will primarily be provided on the club's website www.tapionsulka.fi and by email.
